mix and sift 3 times, flour, teasp.allspice, teasp.cinnamon, teasp.nutmeg, teasp.baking soda, butter, sugar, beaten eggs, fruit cocktail, chopped nuts, chopped apple, dates or raisins, teasp. vanilla extract, teasp. lemon extract, combine the two groupes together, bake in a cake pan or tube pan, let cool before removing from pan, if that s not bad enough ,serve a big old glob of rich whipped cream on top,with a side bowl of home made vanilla ice cream, good memories!! think i ll make it again soon ., thanks for looking.
