dried split peas, rinsed, diced ham , i buy the pre-packaged and just use what i have on hand, carrots, peeled and sliced, onion, chopped, celery ribs, chopped, garlic cloves, minced, bay leaf, dried parsley flakes, salt free all purpose seasoning, pepper, low sodium chicken broth, water (use less if you want a thicker soup)
