Mustard Mashed Potatoes With Red Onion Gravy

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in frying pan
  2. Add onion and sprinkle with brown sugar
  3. Cook gently, stirring from time to time until onion is lightly carmelized
  4. Boil potatoes in lightly salted water until tender
  5. Sprinkle flour over onions
  6. Stir & cook 1 minute
  7. Stir in stock, wine and worcestershire sauce
  8. Boil and then reduce heat and simmer.
  9. Drain potatoes and return to pot.
  10. Mash with warm milk, butter and mustard
  11. Spoon mound of mashed potatoe on each plate and top with gravy.
