Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400f
  2. 1. Cut parchment paper and line bottom of pan
  3. 2. Cut butter into small slices then cubes and place on bottom of pan sporadically.
  4. 3. Sprinkle a little Rosemary and salt pepper on bottom.
  5. 4. Peel potatoes and yams and cut into slices about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. 5. Place one layer of potatoes nicely on bottom of pan, sprinkle with butter, rosemary, bacon and S+P add another layer of potatoes butter and seasoning, bacon follow this with 2 layers of yams and seasoning and then 2 more or whatever you have left of potatoes top with the last of the butter and seasonings.
  7. 6. Place parchment paper on top of this and press down.
  8. 7. Place in a 400f over for one hour or until tender.
  9. 8. Allow to cool 5 minutes before slicing
  10. (you don't have to use all the butter, the fat from the bacon will help out nicely, )
