Hot Browns (Simple)

Ingredients:

  • 2 (10 3/4 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 10 3/4 oz water (1 soup can)
  • 2 -4 slices bacon (depending on your personal taste)

Directions:

  1. Put shredded chicken/turkey in bottom of 13 by 9 roasting or cake pan.
  2. Cut bacon into bite sized pieces (I use kitchen shears), and fry in bottom of a large sauce pan until crisp.
  3. Drain bacon drippings.
  4. Put soup and water in pan with bacon and cook over medium heat until blended and heated thru.
  5. Pour over chicken/turkey.
  6. Place in a pre-heated 400 oven for 25-30 minutes or until it begins to bubble.
  7. Pour over hot biscuits or toast.
  8. Enjoy.
