Ingredients:

  • 647 g potatoes
  • 84 g carrot
  • 187 g onion
  • 26 g garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp wine
  • 350 ml water
  • 43 g soy sauce
  • 10 g garlic
  • 3 tbsp water

Directions:

  1. To make the seasoning paste, combine the 3 tbsp water, soy sauce, 9g garlic and the ginger into a blender and combine into a paste. Pour into a small bowl and add the sesame seeds, chili powder and sugar. Mix well and allow to stand for at least 15 minutes.
  2. To make the stew, cut the onion in half from top to bottom, then each section in half from top to bottom, then repeat for each quarter.
  3. Cube the carrot and potato, Slice the garlic cloves and peppers in half.
  4. Cut the chicken into cubes. Now place all ingredients, including the seasoning paste into a large pot. On a high heat, bring to the boil, then cover and reduce to a mid-heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the sauce has the desired consistency.
  5. Serve with rice.
