Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 3/4 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 325 degrees.
  2. Greased a 9x13 baking pan.
  3. Beat applesauce, sugar, eggs, vanilla till smooth.
  4. Add next five ingredients; mix well.
  5. Add zucchini.
  6. Fold in nuts and chips (optional).
  7. Spread into greased pan.
  8. Bake 40-45 minutes.
