Zanibar Chicken

Not your traditional chicken!
Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken thighs or 3 lbs chicken drumsticks
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, mashed
3/4 cup orange juice
3 tablespoons raisins
1/3 cup slivered almonds
Directions:
1. Season chicken with the spices.
2. In a large fry pan, heat oil over med-high heat.
3. Add chicken, in batches if necessary, and cook, turning until browned, about 10 minutes.
4. Remove and set aside.
5. Add onion to pan.
6. Cook until soft, about 3 minutes.
7. Add garlic and cook 1 minute longer.
8. Return chicken to pan.
9. Add orange juice and raisins.
10. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes, until chicken is tender.
11. Garnish with almonds.
