Yungueno (Bolivian Cocktail)

Adapted from BoliviaWeb and Time/Life Foods of the World. You can add less sugar if you wish. Yungueno means from the Yungas, which is a forested area on the Eastern slopes of the Andes. I've scaled this down to make fewer servings.
Ingredients:
3 ounces orange juice
3 ounces brandy (singani or pisco preferred)
1 teaspoon sugar (or to taste) (optional)
1 1/2 tablespoons cold water (or crushed ice)
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a shaker.
2. Mix very well.
3. Chill. This should be served very cold.
