Yummy Shrimp Creole

Very good.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1 large diced green pepper
2 sliced celery ribs
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cups tomato juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 lb large shrimp
4 cups hot cooked rice
Directions:
1. Heat butter, green pepper, celery, onion, oregano, garlic powder, & cayenne pepper until veggies are crisp.
2. Add tomato juice. Heat to boil. Simmer for 5 minute.
3. Mix cornstarch & 1/2 cup tomato juice until smooth.
4. Add mixture & shrimp to vegetables. Cook till mixture boils, thickens, & shrimp turns pink. Let simmer 1 hour.
5. Serve over rice.
