Yummy Layered Spinach Dip

This is a wonderful spinach recipe that I developed for a party! The flavors are awesome and soooooooo easy!
Ingredients:
1 pound frozen spinach, defrosted and drained well
1 stick butter
8 oz. whipped cream cheese
8 oz. pepperjack cheese, shredded or crumbled
1 pound mushrooms, sliced
6 cloves garlic, minced
6 to 8 slices cooked crisp bacon, crumbled
8 oz. mild cheddar, shredded
1 tomato, seeded and chopped
1 large onion, chopped
8 oz. parmesan cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon creole spice
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 small can or bag fried onions(if desired)
1 can black olives. chopped
salt and pepper to taste
dash or two of hot sauce(crystal's)
1 container(8oz) sour cream
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Drain spinach in colander and rinse with warm water to thaw, drain well
3. In bowl, stir cream cheese, hot sauce. Parmesan cheese and spinach together.
4. Season spinach with creole spice, salt and pepper to taste and place in bottom of clear glass casserole dish(for show or just any casserole dish will do)
5. Sprinkle pepper jack cheese over spinach
6. Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms in butter until tender and light brown.
7. Place mushroom mixture over pepper jack cheese.
8. Top with sour cream
9. Sprinkle black olives and tomatoes over sour cream
10. Sprinkle green onions over black olives
11. top with cheddar cheese
12. Top with bacon and fried onion pieces if desired.
13. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and light brown.
14. Serve with tortilla chips
