This is an excellent frosting for most any cake! But my granddaughter always wants it on a chocolate cake!! Very easy to make. Ingredients:
2 cups brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup milk |
4 cups powdered sugar |
1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring |
Directions:
1. In med saucepan, mix brown sugar, butter, and milk.
2. Cook and stir on med-hi until boiling.
3. Boil for 3 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and cool.
5. Add powdered sugar and maple flavoring.
6. Beat until creamy.
