Ingredients:

  • 1 cup karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. margarine
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 large onion

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients but onion in saucepan over high heat 30 minutes before spouse gets home...Make sure to use old pan
  2. Burn to unrecognizable blob
  3. If stench isn't bad enough, add 2 tbls. vinegar
  4. When spouse comes into house, take onion and cut to produce tears
  5. Cry and say, I've burned dinner and there's nothing else to cook.
  6. Complain about what a bad day you've had
  7. Get cleaned up because you're going out to dinner
  8. You deserve it
