Yellow Squash Patties

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 cups grated yellow squash
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 -3 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Combine first 6 ingredients and beat well with an electric mixer.
2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
3. Drop mixture by tablespoons onto a hot greased skillet.
4. Cook until golden brown, turning once.
5. Drain on paper towels.
