Yellow Squash Casserole

This is a family favorite that we have whenever we have get-togethers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Ingredients:
2 lbs squash (yellow or crooked neck sliced)
2 large onions, chopped
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sour cream
6 eggs, well beaten
3 cups breadcrumbs
salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large sauce pan, cook sqaush and onions in salted water with butter until tender.
3. Drain, add sour cream, salt and pepper, beaten eggs and 1/2 cup bread crumbs.
4. Mix thoroughly and pour into greased 3 qt casserole dish.
5. Top with remaining bread crumbs.
6. Bake for around 20 mins at 350 degrees, or until bubbly and bread crumbs are brown.
