Ingredients:
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
1 cup seedless raisins
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp light brown sugar
5 tbsp butter or margarine
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil over high heat, add rice, reduce heat to simer, cover, and cook for 2- minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat.
2. Add raisins, turmeric, cinnamon, brown sugar and butter; mix well, cover and reduce heat to warm for 10 minutes.
