A healthier version (from ) of a delicious fall dessert...4 pts per serving I ended up adding some more brown sugar on top because my hubby loooooooves extra brown sugar on his apple crisp
Ingredients:
1 lb granny smith apple, cut into 1/2 in slices
1 lb bosc pear, cut into 1/2 in slices
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons dark brown sugar, unpacked
1 large egg
6 tablespoons dark brown sugar, unpacked
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup rolled oats
6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine, melted
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven to 375.
2. Spray baking dish with cooking spray.
3. Toss apples & pears w/ lemon juice and 4 tbsp brown sugar.
4. For topping, beat egg, add remaining brown sugar, salt & cinnamon.
5. Add rolled oats.
6. Spoon fruit into baking dish & sprinkle oat mixture on top.
7. Melt butter in small saucepan.
8. Drizzle melted butter on top of the oat mixture & fruit.
9. Bake 45-50 minutes.
