I have perfected this recipe over time with trial and error and it is now, in my opinion, absolutely perfect. I use fresh spinach in my recipe. I'm sure you could use frozen, although I never have, so I can't give any advice on measurements. I cut up pitas into triangles and brush them with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt and heat them int he oven. Goes great with the dip and makes a nice presentation. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 (16 ounce) bag fresh spinach, cut up
2 (4 ounce) jars marinated artichokes
1 tablespoon garlic (or adjust to taste)
1 dash season salt
1 dash red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Cut up spinach.
2. Cut up artichokes.
3. Mix all ingredients in bowl together well.
4. Spray 8x8 dish with Pam.
5. Bake at 350 for an hour, or until dip is bubbling in the middle and top is just slightly browned.
6. Serve with warmed cut up pitas or chips or crackers, whatever you prefer.
7. Sometimes I add cut up tomatoes on top right before serving if I have them on hand.
