These end up like candied wings. Done in the wok, the steam makes them super moist. They take some time, but are really good. Ingredients:
30 chicken wings |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
3/4 cup butter |
1 cup soy sauce |
3/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients, except wings, in a wok. 2. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. 3. Add wings. 4. Cover and continue to cook, stirring about evey 10 minutes, until the cooking liquid completely coats wings. 5. Cooking time varies, although expect it to cook at least an hour to get the stickiness factor. 6. Be careful not to over cook, however. 7. Depending on your wok and heating temperature, your wings might get done sooner. Mine took an hour. |
