Wisconsin's Finest Cranberry Vodka

Keep a bottle handy and cheer up the dreariest winter day.
Ingredients:
1 lb cranberries (fresh or frozen)
4 cups vodka
Directions:
1. Put fruit and vodka in a large bowl, crush berries with a potato masher.
2. Leave fruit to macerate for 2 or 3 days COVERED.
3. Strain liquid through cheesecloth/jelly bag (clip cheesecloth to a footed colander using clothes pins).
4. Pour into a pitcher, then decant into bottles.
5. Seal & label.
6. Store in cool dark spot.
