This is my mother's recipe. It goes great with grilled food.
Ingredients:
1 pear, cored and chopped
1 apple, cored and chopped
1 cup cashews
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup grated swiss cheese
1 1/2 bunches romaine lettuce
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons chopped onions
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon poppy seed
2/3 cup olive oil
Directions:
1. toss salad ingredients together except for raisins.
2. mix dressing ingredients.
3. serve dressing and raisins on the side.
4. enjoy!
