This easy wild rice soup recipe will warm your tummy on a cold winter night.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup margarine or butter
salt
pepper
1/4 cup flour
1 onion chopped
1 can chicken broth
1 pint half and half
1 can cooked wild rice or 3/4 cup raw wild rice precooked
Directions:
1. Saute onion and butter.
2. Add flour
3. blend
4. Add broth
5. Simmer 15 minutes
6. Warm half and half in microwave fro 1 min.
7. Add to mixture
8. Add Rice
9. Simmer
