substitute skim milk if possible
Ingredients:
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. wheat bran
2 t. wheat germ
1 large egg
3/4 c. whole milk
2 t. butter
1/4 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t honey
1/4 t. vanilla (opt.)
Directions:
1. Separate egg. Combine dry ingredients. Combine milk, egg yolk, honey, and vanilla. Beat egg white until stiff peaks form. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until large lumps disappear. Don't overmix. Fold in egg white until combined. Bake as directed.
