The wheat flour makes these taste so yummy. We make them often and serve with fresh fruit and whipped cream over the top. Can serve as an elegant breakfast or brunch item.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup sifted whole wheat
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg beaten
1 tablespoon salad oil
1/2 cup milk
Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingredients.
2. Combine egg, milk and oil then add to dry ingredients.
3. Sirr just until moistened.
4. Bake on hot lightly greased griddle.
