Whole Wheat Muffins

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons melted shortening
4 tablespoons baking powder
Directions:
1. Sift flour; add baking powder, salt, sugar, and wheat flour.
2. Combine egg, milk, and shortening.
3. Pour into flour, stirring to moisten.
4. Do not beat.
5. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
6. Bake for 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
