After playing with different ingredients I came up with a simple healthy whole wheat bread recipe that is quick and nutritional. It requires a breadmaker.
Ingredients:
15 ounces water
3 tablespoons ground flax seeds (or 1 tablespoon olive oil)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup oats
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons vital wheat gluten
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
Directions:
1. Put ingredients in order listed into the breadmaker. Set the breadmaker on whole wheat cycle.
