Whole Wheat Beer Bread

The flavor of the bread will change, depending on the beer used.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
4 1/2 teas baking powder
1 1/2 teas salt
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 (12 fluid ounces) can or bottle beer
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree.
2. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flours, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Pour in beer, stir until stiff batter is formed. It may be necessary to mix dough with your hands. Scrape dough into prepared pan.
4. Pour 1/4 melted butter over top of bread
5. Bake in preheated oven 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
