Whole Wheat and Honey Muffins (With Pepitas)

Recipe saved from an old package of whole wheat flour. The original recipe called for walnuts but the taste and texture of pepitas work well too. Simple and tasty!
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 cup skim milk
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup pepitas (coarsely chopped or whole)
Directions:
1. Blend dry ingredients together.
2. Combine remaining ingredients and add all at once to flour mixture.
3. Stir quickly until ingredients are just mixed and batter is still lumpy in appearance.
4. Fill medium muffin tins 2/3 full.
5. Bake at 200C (400F) for 20 minutes.
