Whole Grain Cereal Muffins

This recipe works well with many different cereals.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup white flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups curves whole grain cereal (may substitute other brands)
1 1/4 cups milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup dried cranberries (or any dried fruit) (optional)
Directions:
1. Stir together flours, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
2. Measure cereal and milk into large mixing bowl. Let stand 5 minutes. Add egg and oil. Beat well.Add cranberries. Set aside.
3. Add flour mixture. Stir until blended. Pour into lined muffin cups. {Spray PAM on the papers and they will not stick to the muffins].
4. Bake at 400F about 17 minutes until lightly browned.
