You see that white chocolate that's hangin' out in your cupboard/pantry & you have no idea what to do with it/you have it but you just don't like white chocolate? Then try these award-winning White Chocolate Fudge Brownies! They be sure to knock your socks off & make you wanna indulge before calling the Chocolate Police!!!!! ;-D
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
8 ounces white chocolate
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tablespoon vanilla (you could experiment with different extracts & oils like coconut, almond, orange, peppermint...etc..)
1 cup flour
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or any other kind of your favorite chips, chunks, nuts, fruit, cookies, candies, grains...etc...)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Grease and flour an 8 inch square baking pan, or line with foil.
3. Melt butter and 4 oz of white chocolate together in top of double boiler over hot water.
4. When melted remove from heat and add the remaining white chocolate. Stir to blend well.
5. Set aside.
6. Beat the eggs and sugar until pale and thick.
7. Add white chocolate and butter mixture, vanilla and flour. Beat just until smooth.
8. Add your favorite chips, chunks, nuts, fruit, cookies, candies, grains - etc - and mix in by hand, being careful not to overmix.
9. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
10. Cool on wire rack. Cut into squares or bars.
