With the Holidays coming up, this makes such a nice gift with putting them in paper bon bon cups and in a decorative tin.
Ingredients:
2 - 3 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1 6-ounce package white baking chocolate, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
dash salt
5 cups powdered sugar unsifted
1 cup pecans, chopped (you can vary by using macadamia nuts)
Directions:
1. Generously butter an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
2. In a large mixer bowl at medium speed, beat cream cheese, white chocolate, vanilla and salt until well blended.
3. At low speed, gradually add powdered sugar and beat until well blended and thick.
4. Increase speed to medium and beat for 1 to 2 minutes or until fluffy.
5. At low speed, beat in nuts.
6. Spread evenly in prepared pan.
7. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
8. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
9. Cover and store in the refrigerator up to 10 days.
