White Chocolate Apricot Squares

Quite possibly the best dainty/square I have ever made or eaten! Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white chocolate chips
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup apricot jam
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup sliced hazelnuts (or you can use sliced almonds)
Directions:
1. Melt butter and 1 cup white chocolate chips in small saucepan, stirring until smooth; set aside.
2. Beat eggs and sugar on high speed of electric mixer until thick and light, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in melted chocolate mixture, flour and vanilla.
4. Mix well.
5. Spread half of batter in greased 9 square cake pan.
6. Bake at 325°F for 20-25 minutes, or until light golden.
7. Cool 5 minutes.
8. Spread jam on top.
9. Stir 1 cup white chocolate chips into remaining batter.
10. Drop by spoonfuls evenly over jam.
11. Spread out gently.
12. Sprinkle with nuts.
13. Bake 30-40 minutes longer, or until set.
14. Cool completely then cut into squares.
