Whiskey Sirloin Steak

Ingredients:
1/4 cup whiskey or 1/4 cup apple cider
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 garlic clove, sliced thin
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 top sirloin steaks or 1 rib eye steak
Directions:
1. In a large container, combine all ingredients except the steak, and mix.
2. Add the steak and turn to coat.
3. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
4. Drain and discard the marinade.
5. Place steak on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray.
6. Broil 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 7 to 9 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness.
7. (For medium rare, a meat thermometer should read 145).
