This is definately a different way to make pound cake... it comes out light and delicious...I can taste it now with a cup of coffee...
Ingredients:
2 stick butter (nothing else)
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
6 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cool whip , thawed (8 oz)
Directions:
1. Cream butter until fluffy .
2. Add sugar, one cup at a time: beat well after each addition.
3. Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each addition.
4. Alternately add flour and cool whip, ending with cool whip.
5. Add vanilla.
6. Bake for 1 1/2 hours in a greased and floured tube pan at 300 degrees.
