Where Did The Rum Go Cake

A single-layer, quick and vegan cake that I made to turn into the now infamous cake balls . I wanted the flavours to be strong enough to compete with the dark chocolate I have covering them.
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup raw cane sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup water (you can use soy milk)
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1/2 tbsp coconut extract
1/2 tbsp rum extract
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8 cake pan.
2. Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
3. Combine remaining ingredients in another bowl, add to the dry mix and beat well (using electric beaters for 2 minutes or by hand for about 4 - you want it totally smooth).
4. Bake for 35 minutes.
