Wheat Free Northwoods Pasty Pie

We have been eating pasties since I was a child. These are usually served with ketchup.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 medium potatoes
2 cups sliced carrots
1 small onion
1/2 cup rice flour
1/8 cup tapioca flour
1/8 cup potato starch
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cold butter or 6 tablespoons earth balance buttery sticks
Directions:
1. For the crust:.
2. Mix all the ingredients together.
3. Chill for 30 minutes.
4. Roll into a 9 circle between two pieces of waxed paper.
5. Filling:.
6. Chop all the vegetables and put in a 9 baking dish.
7. Brown the ground beef and add to the baking dish.
8. Cover with the pie crust.
9. Bake for 40 minutes at 350.
