A sunday brunch favorite at our house, when I was a child
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
toast or cracker
Directions:
1. Melter butter in saucepan over medium heat.
2. Blend in flour gradually and cook, stirring constantly until mixture bubbles.
3. Stir in milk gradually and stir til thickened.
4. Add grated cheese and mustard.
5. Stir til cheese is melted.
6. Add seasonings.
7. Serve immediately over hot toast or crackers.
