It sounds rather different with the egg mixture in the middle of the burger.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground lamb
1 medium onion, grated
1 pinch ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons horseradish sauce
1 lemon, zest of
salt & freshly ground black pepper
2 large eggs, hard-boiled
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
1. Blend the ground lamb with the onion, nutmeg, horseradish sauce and lemon zest.
2. Add plenty of seasoning then divide the mixture into four.
3. Shell and mash the eggs and blend with the mayonnaise, parsley and seasoning.
4. Divide each piece of minced lamb in half and fatten into a burger.
5. Place a quarter of the egg mixture onto each, cover with the other half and mold together to make four large burgers.
6. Cook under a preheated grill or barbecue for about 10 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
7. Serve in large burger rolls with salad.
