Walnut butter and blueberry jam provide different antioxidants than peanut butter and strawberry jelly. From the Essential Best Foods Cookbook.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons blueberry fruit spread
2 slices 100% whole wheat bread
2 tablespoons walnuts (walnut butter, see walnut butter)
Directions:
1. Spread half of the fruit spread on each slice of bread. Spread the walnut butter on one slice. Close the sandwich, but diagonally into thirds or into four triangles, and serve.
