Watermelon - Pepper Mint- And Vodka Sorbet

Ingredients:
1 - cup superfine sugar
2 - sprigs peppermint
1-3/4 pounds watermelon, diced
3 - tablespoons vodka
1- tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Directions:
1. Place the sugar in a saucepan with 1 cup of water and bring to a boil. stirring to dissolve the sugar.........
2. add the sprigs of peppermint , allow to cool then chill............
3. puree' the watermelon and pass it through a strainer to remove any seeds
4. remove the peppermint from the syrup, then add syrup to the watermelon and puree with the vodka and lemon juice.......
5. place the mixture in an ice-cream machine and churn until frozen
6. enjoy serves 6 to 8
