Warm & Gooey Double Chocolate Cake

this is a rich and chocolatey single layer cake. you can mix it and bake it in the same pan. serve it warm - with real whipped cream and fresh raspberries on the side.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter substitute (i prefer earth balance)
1/2 cup cocoa
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
Directions:
1. melt butter over low heat in a round 9 cake pan.
2. remove from heat and add cocoa - stir.
3. add sugar, eggs and vanilla - stir.
4. add flour, baking powder and salt - mix well.
5. sprinkle half (1/4 cup) of the chocolate chips and all of the sliced almonds on top of the batter.
6. bake (in the same pan) at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
7. remove from the oven and sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top of the cake.
8. allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. cut into wedges and serve warm.
