You can find these tasty little snack sold in market stalls. Found in Vegetarian Quick and Easy
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 cup ground walnuts
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2-1 teaspoon tahini
1 lemon, juice of
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
salt and pepper, to taste
2 -4 pita bread
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients except pita bread into a blender and mix well, adding more lemon juice and/or water until desired consistency has been achieved.
2. Serve with hot pita bread.
