Try some of the stuffing mix on the bottom, instead of the biscuits. Any canned biscuits can be used. Crescents are just already flattened. Try Cajun or creole seasoning for a spicy taste. Don't forget the salt and pepper! I forgot it once, and something was just missing.
Ingredients:
2 (6 ounce) packages chicken flavor stuffing mix
2 cups hot water
1.5 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough
2 -3 cups cooked chicken, cubed
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (15 ounce) can veg-all, drained
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can potatoes, drained
1 -2 stalk celery
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 deg F.
2. Lightly grease 13x9 baking dish.
3. Put a layer of Crescent roll dough on the bottom of the baking dish.
4. Mix chicken, soup, poultry seasoning, and veggies. Salt and pepper to taste.
5. Pour mixture over Crescent roll dough.
6. Add hot water to stuffing mix and cover mixture with stuffing.
7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
