This is a family favorite of which grapes has always been added.
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped, slightly toasted pecans
1 cup celery, thinly sliced
1 cup red seedless grapes, sliced (or a 1/4 cup of raisins)
2 sweet apple, cored and chopped
6 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
salt
pepper
lettuce
Directions:
1. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise (or yogurt) and the lemon juice.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper.
3. Mix in the apple, celery, grapes, and walnuts.
4. Serve on a bed of fresh lettuce.
