Vodka Cream Sauce

A simple pink sauce, great over Penne pasta.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 ounces chopped garlic
36 ounces tomato puree
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons vodka
1/4 cup minced fresh basil
Directions:
1. Sauté garlic in olive oil, add tomatoe puree and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes.
2. Add heavy cream and crushed red pepper to tomato sauce and simmer for 5 more minutes. Add vodka and basil to sauce and simmer for 2 more minutes.
