Vivians Chicken Lasagna

This chicken lasagna is a wonderful recipe from my friend at work, Vivian. Great for potlucks or family dinner. This is the original, and is best. Simple ingredients make the best meals! Delicious.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
2 tbs butter
1 can creamy mushroom chicken soup
2 1/2 cups cooked cubed chicken (or shredded)
8 oz cream cheese (viv says add more!) cubed at room temp
12 oz shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
16 oz small curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup fresh grated parmesean cheese
8 oz package lasagna noodles, cooked.
2/3 cup milk
chopped parsley for garnish.
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. Boil lasagna noodles per box directions.
3. In a large skillet, saute' onion and green pepper with the butter until tender. Mix soup and milk, Add to skillet and stir for a few minutes. (This is your sauce)
4. Spray 9 X 13 glass pan with Pam.
5. Spread enough sauce to lightly cover bottom.
6. Layer 1/3 of the noodles, cottage cheese, cream cheese ,chicken and cheese.
7. Repeat layers. (you will have three)
8. Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
9. Top with extra grated Parmasean and Parsley.
