A beautiful vinegar.
Ingredients:
4 cups wild purple violets (flowers)
4 cups rice wine vinegar
Directions:
1. Pack 2 pint jars tightly with the violets. Pour the vinegar straight from the jar over the violets.
2. Cover tightly and allow to stand in a
3. sunny window for 4 or 5 days; the violets will bleach out and the vinegar become a beautiful pale lavender.
4. Strain and keep refrigerated.
