Ingredients:
1 tablespoon shallot, minced
1/4 cup balsamic or red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, whisk together the shallot, vinegar, oil and salt and pepper.
2. Serve with a salad or steamed or grilled vegetables. Add minced fresh herbs as desired.
