Vegetable Salad - Aunt Helens

Marinated Salad.
Ingredients:
salad
1 - can sweet peas, drain
1 - can niblet corn, drain
1 - can french style green beans, drain
1 big onion, chopped
3 stalks of celery, sliced thin
1 green bell pepper, chopped
marinade
1/2 c crisco vegetable oil
1 c white vinegar
1 c sugar
salt to taste
2 t water.
Directions:
1. Place all vegetables in a large bowl and set aside.
2. Bring the marinade ingredients to a boi and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Served chilled.
