Ingredients:
2 quarts beef broth
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 cups cubed potatoes
2 cups sliced green beans
2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
1 tablespoon dried italian seasoning
1 -2 teaspoon chili powder
1/3 cup quick-cooking barley
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except barley, salt and pepper, in a slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours, adding barley during the last 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
